Kobelt offers three (3) options for SmartBus temperature sensors that can be used in any configuration, depending on your needs. They are available in a Master or Slave configuration to suit your system's requirements. A reversed rudder angle indicator is available to align with aft facing stations. ​ They can be configured with up to a total of six units in an operational loop. ​ The indicators are driven by a position transducer such as the Kobelt 7163, 7168, or 7174 Rudder Feedback Units (RFU). The 7180 is available in Master and Slave configurations in both 12VDC and 24VDC offerings. Both the Master and Slave contain a backlight to illuminate the indicator during dark operating hours. ​ The 7180 Rudder Angle Indicators will provide you with real-time visual display of the position of your rudder while your vessel is underway. Whether you are manoeuvring, or your autopilot is commanding your vessels, an accurate readout of your rudder position will be displayed on this tri-colour two-inch diameter display indicator. ​ The unit indicates the PORT direction of travel in Red and the STBD direction of travel in Green for easy and quick identification while steering. The system supports one Master Indicator with up to a maximum of 5 Slave Indicators (or “repeater stations”) commanded by a single input signal. The indicators are driven by a position transducer such as the Kobelt 7163, 7168, or 7174 Rudder Feedback Units (RFU). MICROPROCESADORES 6503 - Mighty Mariner System Electronic Interface The 6503 is a microprocessor unit, acting as the central processor for the Mighty Mariner electronic control system. The interface monitors all input information from control heads and switch panels, communicates to the control heads and sonalerts, operates clutch solenoids and the throttle signal for the engine. The 6503 is programmed using dipswitches and trimpots and can incorporate up to 4 electronic control heads. The 6525 Microprocessor acts as the central processor for the 6525 electronic control system. The processor accepts up to 8 control stations with only two communicating wires and can control two main propulsion engines and their respective reverse gears or CP propellers. The 6525 processor also inputs the control of trolling valves, and provides all interlocking for regular propulsion systems, including propeller shaft brakes and throttle boosts. The 6525 processor is programmed using a laptop, and is very flexible, capable of incorporating many different control heads, switches, panels, actuators and functionality. The 6654 can only be used as a replacement head for an existing 6654, or for integration into Z-Drives, which require a complete electronic system - the 6535 System - to be implemented as well, to allow the 6654 to work with the Z-Drive. The 6535 System is not available for any other heads or configurations. Please contact CENTRAMAR to obtain more information on this product or system. 6657: Integrated Steering & Propulsion Electronic Control Head This 6657 Integrated Steering & Propulsion Electronic Control Head provides propulsion controls for clutch and throttle plus full follow up (FFU) steering rudder control, all comfortably operated by a single hand. The 6657 is ideally suited for a navigation station with limited space due to its compact footprint. ​ The 6657 provides clutch and throttle propulsion control. It is available in either Single or Twin Engine handle configurations. Push the lever forward 20° to engage the forward gear. Push the lever another 60° for your throttle control from engine idle to maximum RPM. From the upright position, pull the lever backwards for reverse operation. Available with single or dual 5Kohm potentiometers for propulsion signal output. ​ The 6657 contains illuminated position gauges and is available with single or dual potentiometers for the steering systems and is intended for use with electric over hydraulic steering systems for rudder angles up to 45° per side. The head is constructed entirely of die cast bronze complimented by stainless-steel hardware for longevity in a marine environment. ​ The housing is finished in a combination of painted black and chrome. The 7176 Walk-About Controller is a hand-held, portable control for single or twin engines with all the features of a built-in control system. The 7176 provides fingertip control over rudders, and can be equipped with switches or knobs for controlling thrusters or anchors. The 7176 is water tight, but is also equipped with a cable and shoulder straps, to avoid dropping or losing the unit, a common issue with wireless controllers. ACTUADORES 6524 - Electronic Actuator The 6524 actuator allows for actuation of marine clutches, throttles, trolling valves, controllable pitch propeller mechanisms and other marine & industrial applications. The 6524 is a robust, bronze and stainless steel device, with 90 lbs. of torque and is equipped with manual disconnect capabilities, unique to Kobelt actuators. The 6524 comes with two levers for 2 functions. The lever allows for manual disengage, as well as overstroking without damage to the drive train. Equipped with two independent levers, this device allows control over marine clutches, throttles, trolling valves, controllable pitch propeller mechanisms and other marine & industrial applications. The 6527 is robust, constructed primarily of bronze and stainless steel device, with 180 in-lbs. of torque. The 6527 is equipped with manual disconnect capabilities, unique to Kobelt actuators. However, the 6527 does not have an internal resilient link for over stroking without damage to the drive train, and requires the stroke to be adjusted precisely to suit the device to be controlled. The 6527-S is only for use with the Mighty Mariner System. The 6528 has additional functionality over all other Kobelt actuators with a override for manual positioning, an electro-mechanical clutch arrangement to allow for return to centre / neutral start position and a resilient driven output shaft to allow for the motor to stop and wait for balance. The 6528 comes with a single lever that can be configured to manage a specific function. It is also available in three different springs for more torque, including a 100% spring that produces 600 in. lbs. of torque, a 75% spring that produces 450 in. lbs. and a 50% spring that produces 300 in. lbs. of torque. The 6528 also comes with a potentiometer, to provide feedback on indicators, status and more.
